In memory of our teacher - Dr Sai Wing Lee
" Nothing is more certain than death and nothing is more uncertain than the time of death." this is a phrase by the great philosopher Aristotle.
Would life be the greatest blessing from our almighty god, or be it the greatest joke in this world? I couldn't quite get it. No matter how, it will knock on our door some day, some time, even though you may not be well prepared for it. And you will never really know when does the clock start clicking, only know that it is like a dead end over there, waiting for you.
Does new born really bring us hope, or it is just another potential sorrow in our memory, as the new born will leave us someday. What is the point in giving birth while we all have to give it up again later? We were born so that we will die years later, or we die so as to prove we really lived. It is funny that almost all of us celebrate our birthday every year. Do we notice that it just seems like a count down for our own life?
Do we really mourn for the dead or do we mourn for ourselves as we are still here?? I don't know. If we believed that there is a life after this one as we will be able to be back and unit again with the god, sharing his eternal life in the heaven, then what is the point in mourning? As the dead will be in a better land by then. Or we are just afraid to be left behind in this unperfect world?
I don't know when will I die, and I will never know, I just wish when the time come, I would have finished what I want to do and wish to say, and bid you goodbye nicely if not passionately.
Hope peace be with you all.
