Almost 99% of the articles here are love/romance related. I find it overwhelming. Therfore I shall add something refreshing to the thread every once a while.
-----------------------------------
This time I shall present an argument advocating that God cannot exist. Next time, I'll put an argument advocating God's existance. Okay, here it goes:
---------------------------------
1. God is good
2. God is omnipotent
3. God is love
3. Evil exists
4. Evil opposes good
5. Evil brings suffering
6. God, being good and loving, will eliminate Evil and suffering.
7. However,God did not eliminate Evil because Evil still exist today
8. The fact Evil still exists implies that God can't eliminate Evil or
9. God doesn't want to eliminate evil
10. If God can't eliminate Evil, then He is not omnipotent
11. If God doesn't want to eliminate evil, then He is not love nor good.
12. Since Evil exists (10) or/and (11) must be true
13. (10) or/and (11) being true contradict the definition of God
14. Therefore God cannot exist.
----------------------------
I did not come up with this argument. I read it somewhere else. I found it intellecutally stimulating. Can you find flaws on this argument? If you could, I rather you posted on the site so everyone can see it. Remember, you must base your argument in logic, not insult nor faith.
Like I've said before, next time I'll try to bring another argument proving God's existance.
